Crop Production
Our company is engaged in two way of crop production. The first one is engaging in farming by our own farm. For these activities we have obtained 550 square hectares of farm land from Amhara Region, Setite Humera, Wolkait and Tegede Zone. The land is found near to the Ethio- Sudan border. The farm land is suitable for production of oilseeds such as sesame, sunflower seeds, safflower seeds, ground nuts, soybean, cotton, and cereals such as sorghum. We have also contract farming from Amhara Region, South Gondar Zone, Ebnate Woreda and Libo Kemkem Woredas. In Ebnat Woreda we are contracting with Green Mung bean Producers and Sesame producers and in Libo Kemkem Woreda to produce White pea beans. We are supporting woreda administration to give production skills to farmers; we are also supplying pest sides and improved seeds. From these activities in addition to be beneficiary of best quality of exportable commodities, we support farmers to get more products and support them to improve their livelihood.
